Hansa is a perfect family or group holiday retreat, which offer not only memorable living but easy access almost everywhere around Bali. Villa Hansa is within easy distance to some of Bali’s finest surfing beaches, the villas also close to Pererenan Beach that is a mere 300m walk away the same with the legendary surfer’s haunt, Echo Beach, ten minutes by car. Still, for guests who prefer more leisure activities at villa, home-based pleasures there’s always the 18m infinity-edge pool, centre-stage of pretty gardens leading down to a river and terraced rice-fields, or the yoga room, which also doubles as a TV/entertainment room.

Spirituality is a recurring element, from the four-ensuite bedrooms named after Hindu gods to Tibetan prayer flags and constantly burning incense, chosen for its therapeutic qualities. The furniture that strengthen eastern influence at Hansa especially emphasize by series of unique Indonesian are tastefully displayed in all rooms. Committed to eco-friendly practices and a healthy lifestyle, food is predominantly local organic, recycling is encouraged and household cleaning materials are biodegradable. With its positive energy and genuine Balinese hospitality, Villa Hansa offers a relaxed escape together with extremely friendly staff of ten, as well as three resident dogs, are all part of one big happy family.

Accommodation

Living area

Adopting contemporary Balinese style with traditional touches, Villa Hansa present you  an open air pavilion with serap roof housing over living, dining and kitchen area with the adjoining staff quarter. This building looks out over lovely tropical gardens with infinity-edge pool, balé and wooden deck area. Just outside the pavilion, to the left of the kitchen, a stairway leads to the detached yoga room. It accessed through traditional wood doors, stone steps lead down to a Balinese-style pond, filled with lofty lotus blooms and koi fish, surrounded by a moss-engulfed high wall with water feature. This section backs on to the main pavilion and living-dining room.

Comfortable living site in one corner where unique, antique yet toned elegancy deeply is the perfect site at Hansa for nice afternoon tea or even only having a warm and bubbly gathering with group or your family. It furnished with two white leather sofas and contrasting antique wood chairs and table, all arranged on warm Borneo-wood flooring. From the traditional vaulted ceiling hangs a huge lamp made with Tibetan characters encased in shell pieces – this Tibetan element is a recurring theme throughout Villa Hansa.

Close to the living is the dining area comprises an expansive table crafted from solid teak wood, seating ten. There is also fully equipped kitchen accompanying the pavilion, place where chef could prepare their best meals and satisfy your appetite thoroughly.

Stay true to the peace and serene atmosphere of elements, this pavilion doesn’t have air conditioning but ceiling fan and natural breeze to bring cool atmosphere into the room. Even entertainment site is concentrate independently at stand-alone pavilion that also used as Hansa’s yoga pavilion. This pavilion tastefully decorated with antique pieces and furniture, including a Javanese carved wood table and Buddhist stone statue. Although designed for yoga, this multi-functional room also contains 29-inch plasma TV, plus DVD / CD player and Bose sound system.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

All four ensuite bedrooms are located in two, separate outdoor wings in the gardens, flanking the pool’s left side. The rooms feature dark wood floors and king-size beds with four-poster frames and attached mosquito nets. All rooms supply safety deposit boxes and air conditioning and three of them comes with ceiling fan.

Lying close to the main pavilion and right beside the pool, is the one-storey building where two bedrooms of Hansa resides. They are entered through glass patio doors. The other two bedrooms are housed in a double-storey modern wing beyond the pool, surrounded by tropical foliage. Each bedroom, despite its common features allowed different shades to distinct its characteristic from one another. One bedroom offers a creative mix of old and new, with striking contemporary Balinese art contrasting with antique pieces. Other bedroom will present a contemporary design with traditional art and décor, bedroom with private lounge with poly-rattan daybed and antique Javanese wooden chairs, bedroom that offers views of the gardens and terraced rice fields opposite, come and stay at Hansa to experience the real comfortable living in a luxurious private holiday home.

All bedrooms are also completed with en-suite bathrooms.

Pool, Garden and Bale

From the living-dining-kitchen pavilion, manicured lawns and lovely gardens of exotic blooms and leafy trees stretch down to the infinity-edge pool where the shallow end doubles as a customized whirlpool. Six sunbeds and one daybed furnish the deck area while antique wood chairs and tables sit below a frangipani tree. Across the pool rests a spacious serap-roofed balé for quiet reads and contemplation. Beyond the pool, lawns edged by tropical foliage leads down to River Tibu, marking the property boundary. Stone steps lead across this small river to a steep bank of terraced rice fields and the local farming communities beyond.

Location

Villa Hansa is situated in Delod Padonan village, the suburb of Pereranan part of Bali’s Badung District. The location is promising many things. You can go hiking through surrounding rice field, going to several naturally beautiful beaches renowned for surf with the nearest Pererenan is within walking distance, 10 minutes drive to the famous Echo Beach and more. Canggu Club also only 20 minutes drive from the villa, place where international-standard dining and leisure facilities centralized. And for those who wish to enjoy vibrant and chic atmosphere of Seminyak, 25 minutes drive is enough.
